Growing up

Almost two weeks have gone by since I last posted. First off I can't really believe that Max is seven. I don't even want to believe it. He is growing up so fast. All of my boys are growing up so fast. Pretty soon Max will probably want me to drop him off 1/2 a block from school. Oh what is a mother to do? Kieran is almost two - 13 days to go- and I find even more adorable every day. I am sure that Kurtis thinks I'm nuts but, I tell him almost constantly all of the cute things that Kieran says and does. Kieran is really starting to pull all of his vocabulary together and make sentences. He told daddy he was in trouble this morning- which was hilarious. His memory has gotten a big boost too. He is still talking about Grandma Deb's vacuum and how Aiden, Grandpa and Yodla are scared. Rowan is even getting too big. He reaches and grabs stuff and is getting ready to sit up. I sure do love my boys!!!!!!

Happy 7th Birthday!!!!

Here he is - the man of the hour - Max!!!!! Today is Max's birthday. He is 7 years old and I can't believe how he has grown. He is the neatest seven year old I have ever met. He is kind, helpful, energetic and a great big brother. His school pictures turned out wonderfully. What a handsome first grader! Max had a rough beginning but pulled through like a champ. He was the favorite of many of the nurses during his lengthy hospital stay. Even now he loves to hear the story of his "heart rate drop" as he puts it and feels special if I talk about it.
These two pictures are ones that I thought were super cute, so I thought I would share. The first one is Max on his 1st birthday when we lived in Montrose. The second picture is Max when he was around 2 1/2 at Grandma Deb's house. He still loves to dip his Oreos in milk.

Oh Brother!

Max was being cute with Rowan. Unfortunately Rowan's head gear fell off right before I snapped the picture. This morning I was pushing the kids in a pampers box. Kieran thought it was pretty neat to hold his little brother.

Food

This is from last summer but it fit with the topic. Yes, I finally let Max blow bubbles in his chocolate milk. It was pretty fun - everybody should do it. We are starting to feed Rowan some rice cereal now. He is pretty messy, but getting better.
I snapped this picture of Kieran breaking crackers into his soup, just like Dad.

Who is the goofiest?

Kurtis and I both think that this picture is absolutely hilarious!.
